WHAT WILL YOU DO
Core responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and consultants to conduct BBBEE assessments
- Collect and analyse data related to BBBEE compliance, including ownership, management control, employment equity, skills development, procurement, socio- and enterprise development.
- Monitor BBBEE compliance and report to shareholders and other stakeholders as and when required.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest BBBEE legislation and industry trends to ensure accurate analysis and compliance
- Liaise with stakeholders to gather necessary information and documentation for BBBEE assessments
- Support in implementing strategies to improve BBBEE scorecards
- Contribute to the development of BBBEE compliance strategies and action plans
- Maintain organised records of BBBEE data and compliance documentation
- Conducting periodical audits on all ED elements of the BBBEE scorecard
- Preparation of Reports (including Social and Ethics Committees and Boards) and forecasts for shareholders, financiers and Buyers.
- Ensure all regulatory & statutory submissions are submitted on time and to the correct standards
What we require:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Environmental Management, or a related field.
- A postgraduate qualification in a related discipline is an advantage.
- At least 5 years of experience in BBBEE implementation and management, preferably within the Renewable Energy industry.
- Proven track record of successfully coordinating and implementing BBBEE audits.
- The position may require travel to remote project sites and communities.
- High level of integrity and ethical conduct.

- Knowledge of BBBEE regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Read, write and speak in English and one other South African language
- Knowledge of the renewable energy project development sector and the process to develop utility scale wind and solar projects would be an advantage.
- Excellent writing and reporting skills.
